1. Know the rules

We have 5 basic rules. There aren’t too many, so please take a second to go over them. If you break any of them for any reason, you risk being permanently banned from the server.

2. Visit Dark Tide

Log into Minecraft and click on the Multiplayer button. Type mc.thedarktide.net in the box and click the Connect button.

You should now be logged into the world of Dark Tide. If you like, take some time and look around the server. You won’t be able to build yet, but this is a good opportunity to check things out. If you like what you see, proceed to the next step.

(Please note that this step is required. If you do not log in at least once, we won’t be able to grant you citizenship)

3. Post a citizenship application on our minecraftforum.net thread

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to register on minecraftforum.net.

Then click here to post your citizenship application. Here’s an example:

In-Game Name
Kaliven

Country and Age (this is for our demographic purposes)
USA, 24

How did you hear about us?
MC.net

Why do you want to join Dark Tide?
‘Cause I want a server that’s dangerous and fun.

#5 Did you read and understand the rules?
I did.

#6 Have you logged on to Dark Tide at least once?
I did!
